Sohoyini translates as 'one heart' in the Dagbani language of the Dagombas in Northern Ghana. We created Sohoyini with the hopes of uniting cultures and celebrating our diversity through the beautiful dance and music of West Africa. Our classes, in particular, focus on traditional Ghanaian dances, but we also practice those from throughout West Africa.
